Casa do Alentejo: Photography Contest “Railway Track stations and halts Alentejanos”.


To celebrate the 95th anniversary, a Casa do Alentejo, in Lisbon, will promote the photo contest “Railway Track stations and halts Alentejanos”. The work should be delivered 1 a 30 from May of 2018.

The Alentejo House celebrates its 95 anniversary, on 10 June 2018. Alentejo House Prize is one of the traditional and high-impact initiatives birthdays of the institution. This year was chosen for competition, the photography modality and the theme “Railway Stations and Alentejo Apeadeiros” (pictured the Station Funcheira / Ourique).

The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers, residents in Portugal. Works can be presented in color and/or black and white and must be presented in 20 format×30 or 30 cm×40 cm.
On the back of each photo should appear in legible the job title, details of the place of collection of image and nickname competitor.

Each participant may present 2 works in each mode (black and white and color) and will only be accepted works that have not been awarded in other contests.

The following prizes will be awarded: Black and white – 1.First Prize - 250 euros; 2.First Prize; – 150 euros; 3.First Prize - 50 euros and Colors – 1.First Prize - 250 euros; 2.First Prize - 150 euros; 3.First Prize - 50 euros. The prizes to the winners will be given on 10 June of this year, during the solemn session of the 95 Anniversary of Casa do Alentejo. The winning works will be exhibited, Páteo in the Casa do Alentejo, of 10 a 25 June 2018.
