Castro Verde: Presentation of the A-do-Corvo Mining Interpretive Center Project.

Castro Verde City Council promotes this Thursday, day 16 January, 18:00, a public presentation session of the A-do-Corvo Mining Interpretive Center project.

The session will be at the A-do-Corvo Community Center and will be held in partnership with the City of Santa Bárbara de Padrãos and Somincor.

The initiative aims to present the project to the community, but also provide a space for dialogue and contributions from the population in defining the concept and functionality of this Minas Gerais museum center.

The A-do-Corvo Mining Interpretive Center will integrate the existing network of museum centers of the Museum of Rurality, asserting itself as a space for valuing and safeguarding the mining history of the municipality and the region, kept in the land and in the memory of its people, but also highlight the innovative and transformative nature of mining in the present and future.

The project reinforces Castro Verde's commitment to boosting the municipality's cultural heritage, through a project that reflects the past, present and future of mining in the region.
