Castro Verde: Autarchy creates the Social Card of the Fireman.
The Castro Verde City Council created the Firefighter's Social Card (CSB), whose regulation is under public discussion, to then be approved by the Municipality Executive and later by the Municipal Assembly.

Among the perks to be granted by the card, the exemption from 50% in the water tariff, sanitation and solid waste, support of 100 annual euros for direct descendants for school supplies up to the 12th year of schooling and free access to various municipal facilities.
António José Brito, Mayor of Castro Verde, stated that the creation of the CSB, aims to “recognize and value the work developed for the benefit of the community and the public cause”, adding the journalist, with suspended professional license, that "we are aware of the important role played by men and women who wear that uniform", finished.
