Another edition of the Castro Festival is coming, initiative that, over three days and three nights, will liven up the town of Castro Verde with lots of music and fun. Largo da Feira will be the privileged meeting place for all the Castro residents of 28 a 30 June, at a big summer party, which marks the Castro Verde Municipal Holiday Celebrations.
On Friday, 28 June, Diogo Piçarra, with “roots” in Castro Verde and one of the biggest names in Portuguese music, performs the opening honors of the Castro Festivities. On Saturday, Castro Verde Day, the festivities host the celebration concert of the 40 Delfins' career years, band formed in 1984, with a permanent place in music on national posters and a reference in our pop! After the concerts, the entertainment continues to the sound of DJ’s Christian F (sixth) e Sunlize (Saturday). No Sunday, 30, highlight for the concert with Matheus Alcântara, With your “Summer Carnival”. Before, there will be the usual parade of various Popular Marches.
Do Not “Arraial Stage”, which asserts itself every year as one of the liveliest spaces of the Castro Festivals, you will hear the warm rhythms of quizomba, of popular and Brazilian music to the sound of Manel João (6Wednesdays), Ricardo Madeira (Saturday) and Nelson Santos (Sunday).
In addition to the concerts, the Castro Festival venue 2024 will provide the public, as in previous editions, a bar area, pubs, fairground amusements and inflatables for children, and a Crafts Fair.
Organized by Castro Verde City Council, in partnership with the Union of Parishes of Castro Verde and Casével, The Castro Festivals are an important meeting place for Castrenses and a moment of attracting visitors to the municipality, contributing to the affirmation of Castro Verde as a destination for the most different events.
