Castro Verde City Council recently reinforced the municipal fleet with the acquisition of a bus 100% electric, with capacity for 56 passengers (39 sitting places, 17 standing places).
This new passenger transport vehicle and its electric charger represent an investment worth a total of €474,239.78, co-financed with €300,000.00 by the Environmental Fund, the remaining amount of €174,239.78 being supported by the City Council.
With autonomy for approximately 380 km, This electric bus is equipped with air conditioning, 5G Wi-Fi and USB sockets and allows improvements in the quality and efficiency of services provided to the community, particularly in the transport of passengers and children, and fulfill the commitment made to renew the municipal fleet globally.
