The Castro Verde City Council will file a criminal complaint today with the Public Minister of the AlmodĂ´var Court in order to find out who carried out the open dumping in one of the town's arteries..
The case was detected on Friday morning, within the urban perimeter of Castro Verde, in the so-called Cerca das Oliveiras, in a neighborhood next to the Municipal Stadium, where many boxes and other construction-related debris were dumped.
As soon as the situation was detected, the Municipality immediately collected the waste, with the aim of preserving the same things that were subject to a report by the urban planning services, so that the legal office could prepare the complaint.
irritably, the mayor told Lidador NotĂcias that “it is a repeated lack of civility, recurring in various parts of the municipality, that we cannot let this lack of civility and respect for each citizen go unnoticed.”, justified.
Remembering that in the municipality “there is a very significant network of recycling bins and a direct collection service”, António José Brito reaffirmed that “it is a total lack of respect, with which we will not agree. We will file a criminal complaint against the MP, so that this act can be investigated and those responsible punished.”, concluded.
The mayor assured that on the part of the Municipality “surveillance will be reinforced” at recycling points, in order to put an end to these savage acts.
