The 7th edition of the Participatory Budget (ON) from Castro Verde starts 1 May, with a total allocation of € 80.000, giving the citizens of Castro the possibility of proposing and deciding the works they want to see carried out in the municipality.
Of this amount, The City Council allocates € 10.000 for proposals in each of the four parishes of the county (Total num of € 40.000), € 30.000 for transverse projects to the whole county, and still € 10.000 For young proposals.
The Participatory Budget of the Municipality of Castro Verde is aimed at all citizens, aged or over 16 year old, residents or registered in the municipality and aims to bring citizens closer to municipal public policies through the collection and integration of proposals of collective utility in the Municipal Budget for 2026.
The presentation of proposals follows 1 May the 30 June 2025 and they can be submitted through the online platform, available in https://op.cm-castroverde.pt or in the Assemblies and Participatory Meetings scheduled for the months of May and June.
