The Municipality of Castro Verde and the National Republican Guard (GNR) signed a Protocol for the Assignment under a Loan Regime of the facilities of the Territorial Post of Castro Verde, located at Rua Campo de Ourique.
The protocol has a 10 years and ensures the means and conditions of permanence for the GNR staff in Castro Verde, bearing in mind the important role it plays in the community, in particular in the guarantee of the order, public safety and tranquility.
It should be recalled that the Municipality of Castro Verde has developed a series of efforts to promote rehabilitation works at the GNR Post in Castro Verde, considering the lack of conditions and operability of the current facilities. Aiming at this goal, an Interadministrative Cooperation Agreement was signed, entered into between the Municipality of Castro Verde, the Ministry of Internal Administration and the GNR.
In this context, the municipality hired the company Mota & Eyelash (for the value of € 19.900 + VAT) the elaboration of the project, estimating-I know that, still this year, the public tender for the respective contract is launched.
