Doctors who wish to benefit from the incentives provided for their establishment in the municipality of Castro Verde can now formalize their application. This measure falls within the scope of the Regulation to attract and retain family doctors in the municipality of Castro Verde.
The Regulation, já aprovado nos órgãos municipais e agora publicado em Diário da República, contempla a atribuição de casa de função, made available free of charge by the City Council or, Alternatively, subsÃdio de moradia para comparticipação no arrendamento, no esforço de aquisição ou na construção de habitação.
Está ainda incluÃdo subsÃdio de deslocação, assigned to clinicians placed at the Castro Verde health center who, residing outside the county area, have to travel to provide their service permanently in the municipality of Castro Verde.
Assinale-se que Castro Verde acolhe uma das principais unidades de saúde do Baixo Alentejo, endowed with more valences and responsiveness, as well as a Basic Emergency Service (SUB) with answer 24 hours/day that, at this time, assegura resposta ao concelho, mas também a Aljustrel, Almodovar, Ourique, Mértola and parts of Odemira.
Com estas medidas, o MunicÃpio pretende contribuir para assegurar e estabilizar as condições de assistência à saúde dos cidadãos, either at the Castro Verde Health Center or at existing extensions in all parishes, e criar incentivos ao preenchimento e manutenção dos lugares de clÃnico de medicina geral e familiar do Centro de Saúde de Castro Verde, in view of the difficulties in the number of doctors to fully cover the hours of operation of the basic emergency services of the Castro Verde Health Center and the constant concern of the reduced clinical staff necessary to fulfill the health care service of the citizens.
