Castro Verde: fortnight Culture “Spring in White Field”. Of 21 from April to 21 May.
The Municipality of Castro Verde promotes, of 21 from April to 21 May, the 27th edition of the spring cultural program in White Field.
According to Castro Verde municipality, is a program that celebrates the culture as an essential component for human appreciation and recognizes the role that it has in the formation of citizens, as well as its contribution to building a more cohesive society. For all this, It is also a commemorative program of the April Revolution.
Underlying the proposed program is the culture in its various dimensions, as tradition and custom, but also as today's society we live, ie culture as meeting, as relationship and communication that builds enabling dialogue and transformation, as a means of fostering community intervention through active participation that fosters creative expression and cultural diversity.
A plural program, directed to different audiences, that runs through the various performing arts (music, Theatre, dance, cinema), reinforcing dynamics inherent in the culture and leisure equipment, leaving, however, to equate the experience of public space, by promoting initiatives that seek to bring the party out of the formal spaces.
Spring in White Field is synonymous with submission of quality projects and national shows, especially, in this issue, para nome como GNR, Gisela João, Salvador Sobral, HMB, Earth Theater and Contemporary Dance Company of Almada, among others.
The program is also a visible space for creativity and local projects, to the extent that they are especially relevant over the entire programming. Examples include, the Regional Conservatory of Baixo Alentejo, the Polyphonic Choir of Castro Verde, groups corals, purple campaniça, local artists, etc.
The book promotion, reading and mark the 22nd anniversary of the Municipal Library Manuel da Fonseca is another motes for spring in White Field, by promoting a wide range of initiatives which highlight names like Valter Hugo Mother, Mário de Carvalho, Ana Margarida de Carvalho, Pedro Chagas Freitas, among others.
The Cultural Program Spring in White Field is an organization of the Municipality of Castro Verde, in collaboration with the Associations, Educational institutions and county Parish Councils and supporting the dissemination of Radio Castrense.
