The CDU-Unitarian Democratic Coalition releases an initiative for the public presentation of its 1st Candidate for the Beja Electoral District for the legislative elections.
The event will take place next Saturday, day 6 January, by 15.00 hours, at Pax Júlia Cafeteria in Beja.
It is recalled that last day 13 December the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP) announced the first five candidates and the name of João Dias was announced as the head of the list for the district of Beja.

Journalist Alfredo Maia is the head of the list in the Porto constituency, and in Braga, professor Sandra Cardoso.

Who is who
João Manuel Ildefonso Dias, was born in Serpa, in 16 July 1973, has 50 year old, nurse by profession, PCP activist since 1996 and member of the Beja council. He was elected by the Unitary Democratic Coalition to the Municipal Assembly of Beja, and becomes a deputy to the Assembly of the Republic for the first time in 2018 as a replacement for deputy João Ramos, elected by the Beja constituency by the Portuguese Communist Party, who resigned from office for personal reasons. João Ramos was elected by this same constituency in the Legislative Elections of 2019 and 2022.
