The CDU-Unitarian Democratic Coalition released the list of candidates for the Beja Electoral District in the legislative elections of 10 March and the respective representative.
After presenting João Dias as head of the list last Saturday,, the CDU announced the remaining effective and substitute elements, as well as the agent.
Composition: 1-João Dias, Nurse, 50 year old, CDU deputy elected in 2022, 2-Tomé Pires, Civil engineer, 47 year old, former president of the Chamber of Serpa, 3-Elsa Dores, teacher, 47 year old, President of the Parish Assembly of Santa Clara de Louredo, 4 (1Alternate)-João Palma Quaresma, Industrial Worker, 46 year old, elected to the Municipal Assembly of Odemira, 5 (2Alternate)-Manuela de Deus, Archaeologist, 50 year old, independent proposal by the Ecologist Party “Os Verdes” and 6 (3Alternate)-Helena Costa Pais, Teacher, 50 year old, elected member of the Municipal Assembly of Moura, agent- Gilberto Guerreiro, Miner and Beekeeper, 37 year old, elected member of the Rosário Parish Assembly (Almodovar).
In the Legislatures of 2022, in the district of Beja, the CDU managed 18,42% of the vote, having elected João Dias as deputy, not having won in any of the 14 municipalities and conquered 4 the 85 parishes, Baleizão (vessel), St. John of Boilermakers (Mértola), Luzianes-Gare (Odemira) and Sinks (Serpa).
