Last day 16 December 2022 CEBAL General Assembly took place, where the election of the new governing bodies for the three-year period took place 2022-2025.
In this new constitution, several entities from the region continue to be present, as well as individualities, committed to Science and its development in Alentejo. For the three-year period, the commitment remained with the continuity and enhancement of CEBAL's Research and Development strategy, as well as territorial training in the area of Knowledge and Technology Transfer.
The new governing bodies of CEBAL are now constituted as follows:

In 2023, CEBAL will celebrate its 15th YEAR of activity, continuing to assume itself as a research and development initiative, based on the sustainable use of natural resources, and its by-products, as well as the enhancement of the agri-food sector. And these are the foundations for its lasting growth., more socially balanced and impactful, increasingly focused on a Circular Bioeconomy.
Capable of promoting a multidisciplinary response, leveraging synergies with application to multiple sectors of economic activity, CEBAL intends to continue to play a leading role, with regard to Research and Transfer of Knowledge and Technology, enhancing skills and opportunities for the development of the territory in the area of Agricultural Biotechnology.
