CIMB: Protocol signed with Luso-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


The Noble Hall of the Baixo Alentejo Intermunicipal Community hosted the signing ceremony of the Collaboration Protocol between CIMBAL, represented by the President of the Intermunicipal Council, Antonio Boot, and the Luso-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the President of the Board, Eduardo Serra Jorge, and Treasurer, John Philip Jesus.

The main objective of the Protocol is to encourage the internationalization of companies in Baixo Alentejo, mainly through a support project approved under the Compete Program, with training actions aimed at promoting knowledge about access to the Mexican market and promotional actions.

The Protocol had the High Patronage of the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Portuguese Republic, Dr. Bruno Figueroa, who was represented at the ceremony by the Minister Counselor, Ursula Dozal and the person in charge of Economic Affairs, Commercial and Tourist Promotion, Laura Garzon.

At the project presentation meeting, A group of business and farmer associations were present, as well as other public and private entities.

Promotional sessions will soon be scheduled for companies in Baixo Alentejo essentially linked to the agro-industrial sectors, agri-food and water.
