The new state of emergency will decree the closure of several establishments due to the need to collect. I learned what closes and stays open until 30 January.

HOUSEHOLD COLLECTION. WHY CAN I LEAVE HOME ?

The Executive established the “general duty of home collection”, which means that the basic principle returns to ‘stay at home’ – as in the first confinement, between March / April.

There, however, a set of authorized trips:

Acquisition of essential goods and services; Performance of professional activities when there is no teleworking; Participation in the scope of the electoral campaign or the election of the President of the Republic; The attendance of school establishments; Compliance with parental responsibility sharing; The practice of physical and sports activities outdoors; The enjoyment of outdoor moments and the pet ride, which must be of short duration and occur in the area of residence.

COURTS STAND OPEN

Unlike the first mandatory household pickup, fulfilled in March 2020, this time the government decided to keep the courts and notaries open.

Participation in procedural acts with judicial entities or in acts within the competence of notaries continues to be permitted, lawyers, solicitors or registration officers.

The Ministry of Justice justifies that “the courts are prepared to continue to ensure the performance of the entire service in compliance with the rules defined by the DGS” and that magistrates and staff have Personal Protective Equipment (AND), the courtrooms ensure that judgments and diligences are carried out with due regard for social distance.
