Municipalities at high and very high risk are already more than 200, among them there are three from the district of Beja: Canyons, Serpa and Beja.
ravines is among the 16 municipalities, six more compared to last week's update, over 960 cases of infection by 100 thousand inhabitants last 14 days, appointed the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
At very high risk they are now 79 municipalities, list that includes Serpa and Beja, with an incidence between 480 and 959,9 cases by 100 thousand, while 122 municipalities are at high risk, where are Vidigueira, Moura, Mértola, Aljustrel and Odemira, with a cumulative incidence rate of 14 days between 240 and 479,9 cases by 100 thousand.
With an incidence between 120 and 239,9 cases by 100.000 inhabitants for the moment 55 municipalities, including Ourique and Ferreira do Alentejo. Almodovar Castro Verde, Cuba and Alvito, are below 120 cases and above the 20.
Situation by county, in descending order of infections: Canyons: Incidence to 14 days-2,773, Serpa: Incidence to 14 days-818, Beja: Incidence to 14 days-522, Vidigueira: Incidence to 14 420-days, Moura: Incidence to 14 days-323, Mértola: Incidence to 14 265-days, Aljustrel: Incidence to 14 days-258, Odemira: Incidence to 14 days-244, Ourique: Incidence to 14 days-198, Ferreira do Alentejo: Incidence to 14 167-days, Cuba: Incidence to 14 88-days, Castro Verde: Incidence to 14 102 days, Alvito: Incidence to 14 41-days and Almodovar: Incidence to 14 105-days.
The only Portuguese municipalities with an incidence lower than 20 cases by 100.000 inhabitants are now Alter do Chão, Calheta (Azores) and Santa Cruz das Flores.
In the explanatory note of the data by councils, published in the DGS epidemiological bulletin, it is referred that the cumulative incidence “corresponds to the quotient between the number of new confirmed cases in the 14 days prior to the time of analysis and the estimated resident population”.
