The municipalities of Vidigueira, more 5 cases, and Beja, more 3 cases, again saw the number of active cases increase, according to data from the Local Health Unit of Baixo Alentejo (ULSBA).
According to the report (Daily report 16-12-2020) released yesterday by ULSBA, with data until 24,00 hours Tuesday, the municipality of Beja has a total of 66 active cases and Vidigueira registers 30 cases. Us 13 in the area of ​​activity of ULSBA, where Odemira is not included, there is a total of 305 positive, being the first time that it exceeds three hundred infected.
Since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, there has been 1531 cases, there 15 people admitted to the covid-19 ward and 1 at the Intensive Care Unit of Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes, in Beja. Another data that increased, but this for the positive, was recovered, passing 1155, to 1177, what reveals more 22 recovered infected.
The Municipality of Serpa is the one that keeps the highest number of active cases, in total 140, corresponding to 45,9 % of total cases, following up Beja with 66, Vidigueira with 30, Mértola with 23 and Castro Verde with 22 cases. Below ten positive cases are Ferreira do Alentejo with 6, Moura with 5, Cuba 4, Alvito with 3, Almodôvar and Ourique with 2 each and Aljustrel and Barrancos with 1 case.
