Unilabs and ClĂdis open the first COVID-19 screening center in the city of Beja, in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute.
A Unilabs Portugal e a ClĂdis (HPA Health Group), in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, open a COVID-19 screening center, under Drive Thru, on the premises of this institute.
This screening center has the main objective of increasing the testing capacity of the population of Beja and helping health authorities to control the pandemic..
The screening will be carried out every Tuesday and Thursday, during the opening hours from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, which can be extended by looking for tests. Citizens should make their mandatory appointment in the area of markings on the site and Unilabs (unilabs.pt/marcacoes-covid-19) or through the Drive Thru Line 220 125 001.
This new screening center performs tests by PCR or Antigen and is aimed at citizens suspected of infection and referred by the National Health Service (SNS) or by other health services. Citizens who do not have a medical prescription for this purpose can request the exam assuming the costs inherent to its performance.
The tests will be carried out on a model “Drive Thru”, where citizens do not need to get out of the car to make the diagnosis, the results are then sent directly to the client and to the public health authorities within a period between 24 hours.
