All employees of the Residential Structures for the Elderly (ERPI’s) do Baixo Alentejo are tested in Beja.
It continues and will continue until March 2021, the Testing Program for employees of the Residential Structures for the Elderly of Baixo Alentejo, by the Academic Center for Research and Biomedical Training in the Algarve – (ABC) Algarve Biomedical Center.
To this end, ABC-Algarve Biomedical Center installed a Sample Collection Center for conducting SARS-CoV-2 screening tests in the Institutional Pavilion of the Beja Fair and Exhibition Park.
The Municipal Civil Protection Service of Beja has supported the operation of this Collection Center, that works every Thursday, with an average of 300 tests per day.
This program is an extended partnership project, that counts on CIMBAL, the District Center of the Social Security Institute, the Local Health Unit of the Lower Alentejo, the Health Authority, the District and Municipal Civil Protection Commissions and the Higher School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Beja.
