In the Municipality of Moura, there is now 25 positive cases, with three of those infected hospitalized at José Joaquim Fernandes Hospital, in Beja, the rest being, besides those mentioned in Póvoa de São Miguel, are spread across three clusters: ten in Amareleja, seven in Moura and one in Santo Aleixo da Restauração.
For contacts with rights with confirmed positive cases, There 40 people under active surveillance at home.
According to the revelation made in a statement this Tuesday morning by the Municipal Civil Protection Service of Moura (SMPCM), “Were confirmed today, by the Public Health Authority of the Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit (ULSBA), three new positive cases of covid-19 in Póvoa de São Miguel ”, adding that they “are related to those identified, in the last days, in that parish ”, remataram.
In the document, the SMPCM added that “during the morning of today,, in the House of the People of Póvoa de São Miguel, 53 tests to vocid-19 ”, concluded.
It is recalled that the municipality of Moura belongs to 47 Alentejo municipalities, with the exception of Reguengos de Monsaraz, one of the most positive cases ever recorded since the past day 18 March, the first infected people in the region were known. No total, and according to the always disclosed SMPCM data, have already been confirmed 107 positive cases of covid-19, wherein 82 are recovered.
With the registration of this focus in Póvoa de São Miguel, is the fourth in the county, having first, and of great impact, been detected in population settlements in the urban limits of the city of Moura, followed by Santo Aleixo da Restauração and finally Amareleja, where the number of infected people is the most numerous in the Municipality.
