According to the report (here) released yesterday by the Local Health Unit of Baixo Alentejo (ULSBA), the municipality of Beja registered at the end of Sunday night more 19 positive cases, 60 not complete, compared to those registered in the same period of Thursday, where there was the record of 41 infetados. This was the county, of 13 in the area of ​​activity of ULSBA, where Odemira is not included, where there was a greater increase in cases.
The Municipality of Vidigueira also saw its situation worsen. Of 6 positive cases that recorded, started to count on more 18, only at the end of Sunday night, 24 active cases.
Also in the total of active cases in the thirteen municipalities, the number went from 281 to 299, ie more 18 new cases. Another data that increased, but this for the positive, was recovered, passing 1097, to 1148, what reveals more 51 recovered infected.
The municipality where the greatest recovery of infected people was found was in Mértola, that on Thursday, recorded 41 active cases, having started registering on Sunday, 22 positive, a descent from 19 cases of infected data as recovered. The peak of the pandemic occurred in the “Vila Museums” on Wednesday, where there were 50 active cases. In Serpa the situation has not changed, keeping the record of 141 on Sunday that occurred on Thursday.

The ULSBA data, reveal that since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic there has been 1495 cases, there 16 people admitted to the covid-19 ward and 2 at the Intensive Care Unit of Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes, in Beja.
Serpa is the municipality where the greatest number of positives continues to occur, in total 141, corresponding to 45,1 % of total cases, followed by Beja with 60, Castro Verde with 26, Vidigueira with 24 and Mértola with 22 cases.
Below ten positive cases are Cuba with 8, Moura with 5, Ferreira do Alentejo with 4, Alvito with 3, Almodôvar and Ourique with 2 each and Aljustrel and Barrancos with 1 case.
Total number of cases, 1495 registered since March, Beja has 541, Serpa records 294, Moura with 182, Mértola registers 90, Cuba has 89, Ourique with 60 and Ferreira do Alentejo with 53 and Castro Verde has 52 cases. With less than 50 cases, Vidigueira counties are 46, Aljustrel with 41, Almodôvar with 28, ravines with 14 and Alvito with 5.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 47 deaths, more 4 than on Thursday, and the municipality of Beja is the one with the highest number of fatalities in the total of 22, 17 of which in homes, wherein 12 occurred with users of the São José Mansion.
Serpa, thanks to the outbreak at Lar da Misericórdia registers 10 deaths, Moura registers of 4 deaths, then Almodôvar appears, Castro Verde, Cuba and Ourique with two cases each and Aljustrel, Mértola, Vidigueira with one death each. In Alvito, Barrancos e Ferreira do Alentejo has not registered any deaths yet.
