Covid-19: DGS reveals that on Tuesday there 50 no positive cases Alentejo.
Situation on 31 March: The Alentejo has 50 positive cases, more 5 than in the day yesterday. No deaths in the region.
Hon 7.443 infetados by Covid-19 in Portugal and have already counted 160 deaths (more 20 than yesterday) in our country due to this virus, is advanced in the latest Direction-General Health (DGS), released this Tuesday at the end of the morning. Are hospitalized 627 people, and of these 188 are in intensive care.
The death toll – which does not include the boy from 14 years infected who died at Hospital da Feira, due to meningitis, increased by 20 face to monday. Of total 160 deaths, 83 recorded in the northern, where there 4452 cases of infection, 40 in the Central region (911 infetados), 35 in Greater Lisbon (1799) and two in the Algarve (137).
Alentejo data very different from yesterday
No Alentejo, there is more 5 cases than those who knew yesterday. Évora records 15 cases (yesterday had 21), Santiago do Cacém has 6 cases (the same ones you record yesterday), Sines presents 3 (recorded 3 yesterday), Grândola has 3 cases (yesterday presented 6) and Reguengos de Monsaraz with 3 cases (yesterday recorded more 1). No total, these five counties add up 30 positive cases, for the remaining 20 cases will be distributed among the remaining 42 municipalities of the region.
We are in the mitigation phase, the most serious contagion
The covid-19 pandemic mitigation phase came into effect at 00:00 this Thursday, day 26, and corresponds to the highest alert and response level. This phase is activated when the transmission chains are established in the country, dealing with an active epidemic situation.
