The revelation was made by José LuÃs Ferreira, ENP parliamentary leader, after an audience with the President of the Republic.
The deputy stressed that this measure, transmitted to him by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, it is still just a hypothesis that the Government is considering “stagger” the municipalities of the country according to the number of active cases of covid-19.
The check up, will divide the counties into three levels: a less serious, as between 240 and 480 infected by 100 thousand; an intermediate, whose values ​​vary between 480 and 960; and a more serious, for municipalities with more than 960 cases.
José LuÃs Ferreira also said that “the measures that the government must take to combat the pandemic dispense with the use of the extreme mechanism that is the state of emergency”. Last time, it should be remembered, the ENP voted against imposing the exception period.
José LuÃs Ferreira also informed that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will mark the presidential elections for 24 January. The president should make this announcement 24 November.
