According to yesterday's data from CIMBAL, have already occurred 14 killed in the municipalities in your area of jurisdiction, 10 of which in the municipality of Beja.
The Intermunicipal Community of the Lower Alentejo (CIMB) published on its facebook page the Report of the Daily Situation of Baixo Alentejo – COVID 19, whose data are updated to yesterday, where it realizes that they already passed away 14 people us 13 municipalities in your area of jurisdiction, except Odemira.
The numbers reveal, that have already registered 10 deaths in the municipality of Beja, 2 in the municipality of Moura and 2 also in the municipality of Ourique. As there are active cases there are 266, being confirmed 18 new cases.
Beja with 255, is the county with the most active cases, Serpa has 18, Ourique with 9, Cuba presents 6, Moura and Ferreira do Alentejo have 5 each, Mértola has 4, Vidigueira registers 2 and Aljustrel and Castro Verde with 1 case each. Alvito, According to CIMBAL, Almodôvar and Barrancos are the only municipalities where there are no active cases.
As for inpatients there are 22 infected in infirmary and 2 in the Intensive Care Unit (UCI), having also registered 32 tall, being 620 people on active surveillance.
The total number of cases already registered in those municipalities since the beginning of the pandemic is 716 and those recovered is from 436, being from there 6.353 confirmed or unconfirmed cases. Beja is the municipality where the most cases of covid-19 were registered, a total of 345, followed by Moura with 166, Serpa with 56 and Ourique with 50 cases.
CIMBAL calls for “serenity to be maintained and all recommendations of the Directorate-General for Health to be complied with”.
