There 2.081 infected and 114 deaths by covid-19 in thirteen municipalities in the district. Beja has 735 infetados. In Moura, ULSBA reveals that there are 329 active cases, the municipality maintains that there are only 151.
According to the daily report (Daily report 27-01-2021) the Local Health Unit of Baixo Alentejo (ULSBA), concerning the latest 48,00 hours, between 24 and 26 January, since the data corresponding to the day 25 (Daily report 26-01-2021) were “copy past†of the previous day, 24 January (Daily report 25-01-2021), the municipality of Beja registers more 16 cases, in total 735.
To 24,00 hours 31 December 2020 the municipality of Beja registered 262 infetados, what compared to current numbers, there is more 473 cases, that is, an increase of 180,5%.
According to figures revealed by the ULSBA, in the Municipality of Moura the infected continue to rise, now being described the existence of 329 patients infected with covid-19, numbers that “mean†more than double those described in the communiqué of the Municipal Civil Protection Service of Moura (SMPCM) that sustains there 151 cases.
According to SMPCM, globally, the municipality has 414 recovered cases and 151 active cases of infection with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, and 70 in the city of Moura, 51 in Amareleja, 14 em Safara, 8 Santo Amador, 4 Sobral da Adiça, 3 in Póvoa de São Miguel and 1 in Santo Aleixo da Restoration.
After Beja and Moura, the municipalities with the most cases, second to ULSBA, are Cuba with 229 cases, Aljustrel with 153, Almodôvar with 131 and Serpa with 110, are the ones that register more than a hundred infected.
The ULSBA report points to 2.081 infected in the thirteen counties, having been known 49 new cases, in total 4.774 infected since the beginning of the pandemic. There is also the registration of 50 patients admitted to the ward and 8 at the Intensive Care Unit of Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes, in Beja.
The total number of deaths from covid-19 rose to 144, with log 38 fatal victims in Beja, more 7 than in the past day 23 January, 26 in Mértola, 21 Serpa, 17 in Cuba, 17 Moura, more 9 than 23, yet with 3 mortal victims than those assumed by the Moorish municipality and 5 in Vidigueira and Ferreira do Alentejo.
