International Women's Day: Domestic Violence, criminal phenomenon with visibility

To mark the "International Women's Day", we commemorate this day 8 March, bring to the LN the subject of Domestic Violence (CEO), which is a phenomenon of criminal, that in our society has had more visibility, the wrong reasons and for what it represents for human dignity, in particular women.
Analyzing the criminal statistics related to RV crimes recorded by the security forces (GNR e PSP), it appears that even 2010, the number of crimes has increased every year, this year reached the record high of 31.235 crimes, having 2011 this trend reversed, continuing to decline in 2012, and in that 2013 increased again, reaching 27.318, however still far from the values 2010.
They do not know yet the data for 2014, because this information is available only in next April, when submitting the Internal Security Annual Report (Perhaps), referring to last year.
That is why, It is yet known whether the RV crimes increased or decreased in 2014, but taking into account some noticiais, However outputs in the media, it appears that increased.
If not increased terem, some may say, this fact is negative, because there is more violence in relationships and if you have decreased, It may be thought that the decrease in crimes is a good sign and that we on the right track. But for other, where I include myself, when the RV decreases is because the phenomenon "hid" and victims, for many reasons, do not report crimes, and when the RV crimes increase, that fact is synonymous that the victims had the courage to get out of that abusive relationship and seek help.
Was the so-called "crisis", which reached its peak in the years 2011 and 2012, which led to a decrease in RV crimes, at which point to the number of divorces decreased, indicative that the victim RV settled for their violent relationship, because although most victims no longer depend economically offender, It considers however that the consequences of termination are more serious for their future and their children, from the point of view of economic survival.
Due to this, whenever the number of RV crimes decreases, we must ask ourselves whether awareness campaigns are resulting, and why victims do not report the violence they are subjected to
