The State has been subscribing to successive capital increases in EDIA – Enterprise Development and Infrastructure of the Alqueva.
The State will inject more 5,1 million euros in the company managing the Alqueva dam through a new capital increase, this Wednesday indicated EDIA – Alqueva Development and Infrastructure Company, S.A. in a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
The document, quoted by Jornal de NegĂłcios, indicates that it was approved Tuesday, 6 August, a deliberation to “increase the share capital of EDIA – Alqueva Development and Infrastructure Company, S.A., amounting to 5.137.370,00 euros, through the issuance of 1.027.474 of registered shares, no value 5 euros each, to be subscribed and carried out by the State, in cash”.
EDIA has resorted to successive capital increases to cover debt service.
