Alentejo has consolidated itself as the region of the country with the greatest tourist growth in 2023, with an increase of almost 8%, while the national average was 2,8%, according to INE data.
This impulse was due, largely, to the contribution of Alqueva, the largest artificial lake in Europe that, associated with your water plans, created countless opportunities and added value to the region, driving a significant increase in demand.
