Education: Number of foreign students rises 36% no Superior. IPBeja has 241.
The Polytechnic Institute of Beja has, according to the data revealed by the Secretary of State for Higher Education, 241 validated applications for foreign students.
The demand for international students for higher education Portuguese remains high. Ate a date, institutions already validated 7507 applications, nearly two-thirds of Brazilian students.
Register thus increased demand by institutions within the country. Of the total applications validated, 40% are inwardly, highlighting the polytechnics, for example, Beja (241 candidates), withe Castle (359) and Portalegre (80), what “increased over 100% from last year”.
With the inauguration of the "House of the Student-residence", the IPBeja now has 405 Beds, including three facilities that already have functioning, mostly occupied by foreign students, in particular PALOPs.
