EMAS de Beja, within the scope of its environmental responsibility, joined the awareness campaign "Let's turn off the tap to drought".
Exploring the concept of “time”, the campaign aims to promote the reduction of consumption and the efficient use of water in the context of drought experienced in Portugal.
We don't control the weather, but we can control what we do with time and, together, mobilize ourselves for the urgency of turning off the tap to drought.
The campaign “Let's close the tap dry” is promoted by the Águas de Portugal Group and the Portuguese Environment Agency, within the framework of the Measures to Combat Drought of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action, and has a partnership with the Regulatory Entity for Water and Waste Services and funding from the Environmental Fund of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action.
As EMAS is the managing entity in downtown Beja, will disseminate to its consumers and the general population, information that contributes to behavior change, with the aim of promoting the defense of natural resources, focused on efficient use of water.
