To mark “World Water Day”, EMAS de Beja promotes the opening of doors to all families.
On 1 October, National Water Day is celebrated, a date that will be marked by EMAS de Beja, with the opening of the doors of its headquarters to all families who want to know the “Palacete da Água” project.
The “Water Palace”, is one of the differentiating projects promoted by EMAS, in the area of education and environmental awareness, which provides young people with an educational experience that facilitates learning, properly contextualized with its history, activity and current environmental issues and challenges.
Remember, that National Water Day, has been celebrated in Portugal since 1983, and intends to leverage and reinforce the need for reflection and action to defend this scarce and essential resource for life, in a context of growing concern about the phenomenon of climate change, taking into account its impact on the lives of populations and ecosystems.
