The ninth State of Emergency will be in effect between midnight on Friday and 11:59 pm 30 January.
António Costa revealed the measures of the new (and ninth) Emergency state, which will be in effect between midnight on Friday, day 15 January, and 23:59 in the day 30 January.
All establishments that closed in March and April will also close in the next fifteen days, cases of hairdressers and barber shops. Gyms will also close.

Unrestricted hypermarkets. Churches, open courts and public services
As planned, the prime minister stressed that “the rule is to stay home”, in other words, Portugal will return to “home pickup”, similarly to the months of March and April 2020.
“The only relevant new exception” to last year's confinement is that schools are going to keep “in full operation”.
