Évora: Embraer wants to manufacture new aircraft, taking advantage of EU funds.

The newspaper, President of the Brazilian group revealed that Embraer "wants to take advantage of EU funds Portugal 2020 to strengthen the capacity of Évora factories and bring to Portugal the production of components for the new series of E2 jets ", justified.
Frederico Curado added that the company "can not wait until the decision 2020. In the next 12 months have to have an answer to know where to draw the concern ", not explaining which investment to make and the number of jobs to create.
Speaking to journalists following the visit, Paulo Portas, revealed that, until later this month, Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer should apply for EU funding new investments in Évora, in the order of 150 million, which are to be analyzed “swiftly”.
Embraer, said Minister, “is studying with the Portuguese Government to provide applications for new investments here in Évora region”, linked to “new commercial jets” of the company, “E2 and 175”.
According to Deputy Prime Minister, speaking in Evora, the Embraer facilities, these investment projects will be presented by the end of this month”.
“AICEP and the operational program of the Alentejo, on receipt of the applications, there are 60 days to do the analysis and we want, in the shortest possible, decisions are taken” for these projects have “an impact on the economy and employment”, justified.
