Firefighters Beja Volunteers have from today new commander. Manuel Baganha, after 26 years command, left their job due to age limit.
Pedro Barahona, 44 year old, It takes from today the Commander of, replacing, Firemen Beja Volunteers (BVBeja). The new commander will attend a Command Recycling Course, the National Fire School, and then take office in the fullness.

In 2014, the celebrations of 125 years of Beja Fire Volunteers, Pedro Barahona received the Dedication Medal- Gold grade, assigned by the League of Portuguese Firefighters, by 25 years of “assiduity, dedication and good and effective services to the cause of Portuguese Firefighters”.
