A vehicle was the target of several shots fired, from another car also in progress, early this friday, in Beja.
Those targeted would be the occupants of the first car in a case of reckoning, with contours yet to be explained.
Lidador NotÃcias found that the driver of the vehicle that was shot, foreign nationals, suffered minor injuries, not having had to receive hospital care.
The case occurred at about 01,00 hours, on Rua LuÃs de Camões, one of the busiest arteries in the city, close to Diogo de Gouveia Secondary School, the attacked vehicle was shot with at least four shots.
After the attack, there was an escape and chase between the two vehicles, along the avenue that gives access to Beja for those traveling from the south and entering the city from IP2, at a roundabout where there is a fast-food restaurant that was open at that hour.
From the first alert to the GNR, it was assumed that it had been a misdirection, but upon arriving at the scene, the military found the vehicle with holes compatible with gunshots., situation that was confirmed by the occupants of the vehicle.
The vehicle was removed to the GNR Beja Territorial Command facilities, having been the subject of expertise from the Faro Judicial Police this Friday morning, for those who transitioned research.
The PJ has not yet disclosed whether any arrests were made., in one case may be being investigated as an attempted homicide.
