Mértola's GNR military dismantled, this Sunday, a cannabis greenhouse and detained a man, by Suspeita drug trafficking.
Inside a detached villa in Monte do Outeiro, in place of Vale de Açor de Baixo, municipality of Mértola, the military seized 600 cannabis feet planted in individual pots and had a Ukrainian citizen, of 25 year old, suspected of keeping the plantation, in a house transformed into a greenhouse.
Has learned the Lidador News (LN), in addition to detaining the man and taking the plants in a GNR vehicle, the military dismantled the greenhouse. “It has long been perceived that there was something illegal about housing. Now we are more rested”, said a resident of that place, who didn't want to be identified.
This was the biggest seizure of cannabis made in the municipality of Mértola. The suspect will wait, under GNR detention, the court appearance, on Monday, for first judicial interrogation in order to know the measures of coercion.
