The Portuguese Air Force (FAP) vai make, Air Base No. 11 (BA11), in Beja, between 22 May and 5 June, the multinational and multidisciplinary exercise “Real Thaw/Hot Blade 2024”(RT/HB24).
RT/HB24 coincides with the Beja Air Show air festival which takes place 1 and 2 June, also on BA11.
Military forces from Portugal will participate in this year's edition, and other NATO countries, including the United States, and also from the Navy and Army, found the Lidador News.
No RT/HB24, which allows “evaluating and certifying the operational capabilities” of the Air Force, Navy, Army of Portugal, and the forces of the countries present, will participate 41 aircraft and about 1000 soldiers of various nationalities.
On the weekend of 1 and 2 June, BA11 hosts another edition of the Beja Air Show air festival, with the FAP confirming the presence of French Air Force aircraft, Mirage 2000 Delta knife, from hungary, YOU CAN 39 Hungarian Gripen, in Spain, Eurofighter Typon, from Switzerland, Swiss Patrol, Romania, F-16 Fighting Falcon, US gives America, F-15E e os Falcons, the UK's premier military paratrooper display team.
YAKSTARS will also be present, a Spanish-Portuguese acrobatic display team, which flies six Warbird Yak 52s, the first in the history of Iberian aviation – military and civil – made up of pilots from both countries.
The Beja Air Show is an air festival open to the public and free of charge., in the previous edition there were more than 100 thousand visitors.
