President during 12 year old, between 2005 and 2017, Manuel Narra, is “counting shotguns” for a possible candidacy for the Vidigueira Chamber in the Local Elections of 2021.
The assumption of this candidacy for the “Vila dos Gamas” council was expressed by the retired bank employee, of 56 year old, on your facebook page when you wrote: “I'm thinking …… yes, it is a strong possibility ”, which immediately generated great expectations among friends, who questioned him about the riddle.
Manuel Narra hurried to explain that the phrase expressed the thoughtfulness and willingness to “walk on paths already taken”, in a clear allusion to the return to local authority, adding “let's see what conditions we have in 2021” concluded.
Manuel Narra served three terms as president of Vidigueirense city council, that always managed with an absolute majority, until in 2017 you cannot re-run because you are hit by the law that limits successive municipal executive mandates to three.
The Lidador News (LN) contacted Manuel Narra, who declined to make “comments” about a candidacy in the next Municipal Elections to the Vidigueira Chamber. LN found that since the beginning of December, Narra has met with several people from the county to understand what support he can count on to take on a candidacy, who knows a certainty, “Move forward with or without CDU support”.
