Suspect of drug trafficking, the individual was detained following a police action carried out by military personnel from the Territorial Post of Ferreira do Alentejo, after a search was carried out in the car where he was traveling with another individual.
738 doses of heroin were seized, 69 doses of cocaine, 344 euro cash, four cell phones and three earrings, a report was also drawn up for the consumption of drugs by the other occupant of the vehicle, a man of 40 year old, and it was sent to the Commission for the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction of Beja.
The detainee was present yesterday before a Criminal Investigation Judge at the Judicial Court of Ferreira do Alentejo, where the coercive measure of preventive detention was ordered, having been taken to the Beja Prison where he will await trial.
The action was reinforced by the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) Aljustrel.
