The 32nd edition of FACECO – Odemira Municipality Cultural and Economic Activities Fair, there's tomorrow (Friday) beginning in São Teoténio and the event once again promotes livestock farming, agriculture, tourism, crafts and gastronomy.
How does tradition mark, local handicrafts will have a wide exhibition area, with the presence of dozens of artisans working live.
“This event aims to promote the territory, of its products and activities, collectives and local actors, enhance the business and cultural fabric and attract new entrepreneurs and investors to the municipality”, reveals the municipality, promoter.
No plano musical, the highlights go to the performance of Ana Bacalhau (Friday), Luis Trigacheiro (Saturday) and Iris (Sunday).
Livestock exhibitions and competitions mark the event
The livestock sector is once again “very strong” at the 32nd edition of FACECO – Cultural and Economic Activities Fair of the Municipality of Odemira. The announcement was made by the municipality, promoter, in which the program foresees the holding of various exhibitions and competitions of various breeds.
The 35th National Limousine Breed Competition, the 27th Regional Charnequeira Goat Competition and the 19th Regional Holstein Friesian Cattle Breed Competition, as well as an exhibition of the Garvonesa Cattle Breed, set the agenda, in what is seen as “the best opportunity to promote and debate the future of these breeds.
Crafts are always in the spotlight
The crafts will have a large exhibition area, with the presence of dozens of artisans working live, of FACECO, in which the event shows the potential of that municipality.
Artisans have their own pavilion where they can showcase their work. Pottery, pottery, basket weaving, weaving and painting are some of the “arts” evident. The Municipality highlights that “there are new artisans working in the municipality, which represents an added value” for the territory”.
