The National Federation of Teachers reminds us that “Inclusive Education in a quality Public School is a requirement of teachers and FENPROF”.
On the penultimate day of the election campaign, Thursday, 7 March, teachers will be in the campaign in the district of Beja. “Teachers in the Campaign” will be in Beja today, in which the concentration will be in Jardim do Bacalhau, by 10:00 hours.
In a statement, FENPROF recalls that “if it is true that Education has not been a central theme of debates and campaign speeches, That's not why she's absent, as confirmed by the electoral programs presented by the different candidacies”.
The federation justifies that “some of these programs are extremely worrying because they point towards the privatization of Education, intending to recover association contracts from bad memory or, same, move forward with old desires of some, for example, with the so-called teaching voucher”.
For FENPROF “the Public School is the only one that has given, how should you continue to give, quality responses, for all and inclusive. In public schools, everyone must have a place and, more than that, educational responses suited to your needs, result from a disability or other type of specific need, for example, increasingly, of the language they don’t speak or don’t master”.
