GNR military personnel will receive bonuses for security services during the MEO Sudoeste Festival in the next few days.
Has learned the Lidador News (LN), organized by Música no Coração, managed by businessman Luís Montez, manager of the company Música no Coração, responsible for organizing the Southwest Festival, which took place between 7 and 10 August, in Zambujeira do Mar (Odemira), settled the debt amounting to 60 thousand euros.
Remember that the non-payment situation was revealed by LN on the day 27 November, with the businessman at the time assuring that “we are experiencing a delay, but the payment will be regularized by the end of the week, until the month ends”, with Luís Montez explaining that “I have already spoken to the Beja Command and this guarantee was. It's a lot of money, but we have to fulfill our commitments, because next year we will hold the festival”, concluded.
However, this promise was not fulfilled, as LN guaranteed, justifying that “GNR soldiers spend Christmas without receiving bonuses”, situation that would be regularized a few days later.
After payment made in a coercive manner, payments will be processed by the General Command of the GNR to reach the accounts of the military personnel who were involved in the “MEO Sudoeste 2023” operation, coordinated by Colonel Galvão da Silva, Commander CTBeja, and mobilized a large number of personnel from different operational areas of the Guard.
