The Portuguese Air Force, created in 1952, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year and to celebrate it will carry out various activities.
The 70 years of defending the future in the skies of Portugal and the world will be celebrated throughout the year, with emphasis on the city of Beja and Air Festival at Air Base N.º 11.
These celebrations promise to add color and movement to the skies of Portugal.
Remember that in the ceremonies of 50 years in the Air Force, the President of the Republic was present, Jorge Sampaio and the Minister of Defense, Paulo Portas, with the celebrations being marked with events in Sintra, Lisbon and Beja.
