Border (Portalegre): Ten arrested for drug trafficking in “Frekuency Festival).
Ten people were arrested in flagrante delicto, this weekend, on suspicion of drug trafficking in Boundary County, by the military GNR's Criminal Investigation Unit of Portalegre.
The arrests were made as part of an operation to combat drug trafficking in the main accesses to the "Freekuency Festival", a music festival held, near the border village, between 8 and 10 April.They were seized: 186 g tablet “MDMA”; 180 doses of hashish; 5,5 grams of amphetamine and three doses of cannabis.
Detainees, eight men and two women aged between 23 and 31 year old, paid term of identity and residence.
The operation involved the collaboration of Military Territorial Detachment of Portalegre, reinforced by soldiers of Detachment of the same Territorial Command Intervention.
