Garvão (Ourique): May brings back the fair, the 25th agricultural exhibition.
After the Alentejo Pig Fair and Ovibeja, Rural World Alentejo exercise its splendor in Fair Garṿo 2019 Р25Nd Agricultural Exhibition.
The municipality of Ourique, ACPA has- Alentejo Pig Breeders Association and the Parish Union of Garvão and Santa Luzia organize the 10 a 12 May 2019 another edition of the Fair Garvão, one of the most traditional and important moments of encounter and conviviality of the best of our rural world.
Editing 2019, after the Alentejo Pig Fair and Ovibeja, It has the XXV Agrifood Exhibition, with the Livestock Exhibition, Garvonesa Race producers of meetings and debates, several Equestrian Activities, one Alfeires Contest Alentejo Pig, Garvão the Regional Contest Alentejo Mastiff, a Show Breeds Sheep Farming Merina and Campaniça, a demonstration of shearing, handicraft, food and lots of musical entertainment.
Garvão is meeting, of experiences, of flavors and knowledge of our people and our territory seeking to enhance our products, our traditions and a sense of future construction in harmony with the past and the present.
Garvão is host of traditions and expressions of our realities as the Alentejo Sing, Viola Campaniça or Sing to jolt.
This year's musical entertainment will feature Ricardo Glory (21H30 e 00H30) and 300 And Friends (23H00) on Friday, day 10 May; with the Choir of Garvão(18H00), Sing Alentejo and Viola Campaniça(18H45), Emanuel Martins (21H30 e 00H30) and Augusto Canary (23H00) Saturday, day 11 May; and Sing to jolt (15H00) and The Improvised (19H30) no Sunday, 12 May, last day of the event.
The program also includes a Dressage Cup, one Herding Dogs Statement and the traditional Running of the Bulls (11 May, by 17H), with the Knights Tito Semedo, John Caetano Moura, Paulo Jorge Santos, Miguel Moura, João Salgueiro da Costa and Soraia Costa, Forcados Amateur Moita, Cascais and Cartaxo, that will catch the livestock breeding bulls Varela Crujo.
In the framework of the bet of regional and national promotion of the territory of Ourique, the Fair will Garvão on Sunday, 12 May, in the afternoon, the presence of TVI television station to broadcast the program “We Portugal”, that project the reality of Ourique in the country and the world.
