Gastronomy: Regional Tourism Authority launches today in the district “Restaurant Guide Alentejo Certificates”.


The Regional Entity of Tourism today launched district of Beja, the "Guide to Restaurants Alentejo Certificates", the launch has been done in a phased manner, ending today in the region.

GUIDE RESTAURANTES_800x800A Entidade Regional de Turismo (ERT) launches today district of Beja, the "Guide to Restaurants Alentejo Certificates", a work that results from a pioneer project, implemented by ERT and entitled "Alentejo Good Taste", aimed at the enhancement of regional cuisine and its entire value chain.

The guide gives an insight 84 Restaurants, scattered throughout the region, bearing the seal of certification, a title that certifies the commitment to respect and implement a quality framework that covers both the service, how products and confection and still host.

With print edition in Portuguese and English, the work is also available in electronic version eBook – in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish-, This provides the possibility to integrate other restaurants that want to offer the certification process.

The "Guide to Restaurants Alentejo Certificates", will be available in the international bookseller network – namely at Fnac and Bertrand – and, in its electronic version hosted on the site <http://www.visitalentejo.pt>

It is recalled that the project "Alentejo Good Taste", which is part of the creation of the said guide, also included the issue of Gastronomic Letter from Alentejo and gastronomic itineraries and the certification process of the local restaurants.

After Castelo de Vide, Marvão and Portalegre (North Alentejo), Estremoz, Reguengos de Monsaraz and Évora (Alentejo Central) and St. Andrew and Alcacer do Sal (Alentejo Litoral), today is the turn of Alentejo.
