The Territorial Command Beja (CTBeja) of the Republican National Guard detained 13 people, seized opium, tobacco and weapons.
The actions carried out by the CTBeja military took place between the 14 and 21 March and aimed at preventing and fighting violent crime, road inspection, having been detained 13 people in flagrante delicto, six for driving under the influence of alcohol, three for driving without legal authorization, one for drug trafficking and one for forgery of documents.
With regard to the fight against drug trafficking, beyond the arrest of a person, They were seized 695 opium poppy plants, 24,4 hashish doses and 14 Liamba leaves and still 547 tobacco packs, 24 caliber cartridges 12, two shotguns, a carbine, a melee weapon and two batons.
With regard to traffic inspection, in total, the military detected 147 offenses, highlighting-se: 57 for speeding, 39 for overweight, 12 for lack of civil liability insurance, 11 for offenses related to tachographs, 10 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 8 related to malfunctions in lighting and signaling systems, 4 with the tires, 3 by misuse of the mobile phone in the course of driving, 2 by missing or improper use of safety belts and / or restraint system for children and 1 for driving with alcohol level in blood higher than allowed by law.
In the accident rate chapter, the military registered 21 accidents on the roads in the district of Beja which resulted in 1 slightly injured. Three administrative infraction notices were issued within the scope of police legislation.
