Military of the GNR of the Territorial Command of Évora promote solidarity tournament to raise non-perishable food items, clothes or toys, destined to various solidarity institutions in the district.
In close collaboration with the Évora City Council, integrated into the Unity Day Celebrations, the Territorial Command of Évora (CTÉvora) GNR will organize a Medieval Solidarity Tournament at Arena d’Évora.
With extensive experience in recreating medieval tournaments/fairs, the Territorial Command of Évora, through your military, has asserted itself in various medieval events.
Seeking to combine the experience in historical recreation with the need to support the most needy, on 12 November 2022, by 20,30 hours, once again, “we will look for, with the support of the population of the Évora district, to get this help to several solidarity institutions in the district”, said CTÉvora source.
The same source explained that “in order to be able to extend support to the largest number of institutions/citizens, access to the venue will be materialized through the donation of non-perishable food items., clothes or toys”.
Access tickets may, in advance, be exchanged for the goods mentioned at the premises of the Évora Territorial Command or at the Évora City Council, and can also be exchanged on the day of the event at the Arena d’Évora box office.
