The Territorial Command Beja (CTBeja) of the Republican National Guard detained 21 people and seized a vehicle and weapons.
The actions carried out by the CTBeja military took place between the 21 and 27 March and aimed at preventing and fighting violent crime, road inspection, five people were also arrested for driving without a legal license and one for domestic violence.
With regard to seizures, a motor vehicle must be registered, a shotgun, an alarm gun, two iron gates, 80 meters of copper wire, two sticks and 1,20 hash doses.
With regard to traffic inspection, in total, the military detected 149 offenses, highlighting-se: twelve for offenses related to tachographs, three for failure or incorrect use of the seat belt and/or child restraint system and two for improper use of the mobile phone while driving.
In the accident rate chapter, the military registered 34 accidents on roads in the district of Beja which resulted in one fatality and nine minor injuries. Thirty administrative infraction notices were issued, twenty within the scope of nature and environment protection legislation and ten within the scope of police legislation.
