The Territorial Command Beja, through the Criminal Investigation Center of Beja, made a defendant a man of 35 year old, on suspicion of theft from the elderly, no Beja district.
As part of the investigation that has been ongoing since the beginning of the year into robberies in several locations in the district, where the target were essentially elderly, it was possible to identify and locate a suspect, in the parish of Pedrogão, in the municipality of Vidigueira, immediately after the report of yet another theft on public roads to a victim of 80 year old.
During the police investigations, it was possible to identify and locate the suspect, which was later recognized by some victims and to relate it to several robberies under investigation. A search was carried out in a vehicle in possession of the suspect and his cell phone was seized..
The suspect was made an accused and the facts were sent to the Judicial Court of Cuba.
